Prerequisites
Account Type:
Instagram Professional (Business/Creator) account
Linked to a Facebook Page (Admin access required)
Connect Instagram with String to be able to:
✔️ Centralize message management (DMs + comments)
✔️ Sync conversations with string leads management system
Step-by-Step Connection
1. Access Integration Panel
Go to: Management > Settings > Integrations
Click "Connect instagram"
2. Instagram account Login
Log in with instagram credentials
Permission Sync
Enable:Direct Messages (for inbox management)
Post Comments (for public engagement)
Ads insights (for campaigns anlaysis )

Go to: Communication > Omnichannel > Social DM
You can easily remove your account integration from String
- Go to Management > Settings > Integrations
- Click on instagram
- Select the account you need to Remove
- Click on Remove icons
