How to setup and send SMS Campaigns?

Engage leads and customers through SMS messages.

Follow these steps to create and launch an SMS campaign using String’s Marketing Hub:


Step 1: Access the SMS Campaigns Section

  1. Log in to your String dashboard.

  2. Navigate to Marketing Hub from the main menu.

  3. Click on SMS Campaigns.


Step 2: Create a New SMS Campaign

  1. Click on "New Campaign".

  2. Enter a Campaign Name for internal tracking.

  3. Choose the Sender ID (if applicable).


Step 3: Select Your Audience

  1. Click on "Select Audience" to choose your recipients.

  2. Select from:

    • Existing Contacts – Use saved customer data.

    • Uploaded List – Import contacts via CSV file.

    • Segmented Audience – Target based on filters (e.g., location, last interaction).


Step 4: Write Your SMS Message

  1. Type your SMS content in the message box.

  2. Use personalization tags (e.g., {First Name}) to customize messages.

  3. Keep the message concise

  4. Add a short link (if needed) for tracking clicks.


Step 5: Send the Campaign

  1. Choose Send Now to launch immediately.


Step 6: Preview & Test Your SMS " soon"

  1. Click "Preview" to check formatting.

  2. Send a test SMS to yourself or a team member.


Step 7: Schedule later " soon"

  1. Select Schedule Later to set a future date/time.

  2. Click "Send" to confirm the campaign.


Step 8: Track Campaign Performance "soon"

  1. Go to Insights HubCampaign Analytics.

  2. Monitor:

    • Delivery Rate – How many messages were delivered.

    • Click Rate – If links were included.

    • Replies & Engagement – Customer responses.

  3. Optimize future campaigns based on performance.
